Saturn
Saturn, with its spectacular rings, is the second gas giant planet we will explore.
The swirling patterns of the gas clouds are not as evident as what is seen on Jupiter.
Saturn has a great number of moons. Shepherd moons orbit inside the rings, creating
gaps. Larger moons orbit farther out, and reveal a variety of characteristics
based on their histories and proximity to the planet. Perhaps the most
intriguing of these moons is Titan, with its thick atmosphere and
oceans of methane.
